Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, an internet sensation known for his unconventional singing style, has faced another setback as his viral track ‘Bado Badi’ was once again removed from YouTube.
Originally uploaded during Eid al-Fitr, ‘Bado Badi’ quickly amassed 28 million views and became a viral sensation across Pakistan and India. Despite its popularity, YouTube took down the video citing copyright violations, a decision that left Khan disappointed but was welcomed by many in the Pakistani music industry and social media community.
Recently, Khan posted a video update on his YouTube channel, revealing that the copyright strike on ‘Bado Badi’ had been resolved, leading to the song’s reinstatement. In his message, Khan expressed his frustration and bewilderment over the opposition he faces from established singers, media personalities, and content creators.
Reflecting on his journey, Khan said, “I’ve dedicated eight years to building my name and sustaining my livelihood. I’ve funded my music independently, without any external support.”
Undeterred by the backlash, Khan pledged to continue his musical pursuits, boldly stating, “To those who want me to stop, be prepared for more music. I will not be silenced.”
He also emphasized his unique connection with fans of all ages, asserting, “My performances captivate both children and adults. I am the only artist with a following among the youth.”
Addressing his critics, Khan issued a stern warning: “If anyone from the music, media, or YouTube community continues to speak against me, I will seek legal action. I stand firm on my principles.”
Khan’s resolve and determination to continue his career, despite the challenges, underscores his commitment to his craft and his audience.
