The Punjab School Education Department has changed timings of the public schools for the winter season.
In this regard, the department issued a notification outlining the new hours: schools will start at 8:45am and dismiss at 2:45pm, with early dismissal at 12:45pm on Fridays.
TIMINGS OF DOUBLE-SHIFT SCHOOLS
For double-shift schools, the first shift will end daily at 12:45pm, and on Fridays, it will finish at 12:00pm. The second shift will run from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and on Fridays, it will operate from 2:00 PM to 5:00pm.
Besides it, the notification stated that teachers will arrive at school by 8:30am and will return at 3:00pm from schools.
