In comparison to the $174.7 million recorded in the same month the previous year, Pakistan’s imports from the US dropped by 50% to $87.3 million in March 2024.
Data gathered by ProPakistani shows that, from July to March of FY24, Pakistan’s imports from the US were $933.6 million, a 44 percent decrease from the $1.68 billion recorded during the same time of the prior fiscal year.
Comparing the same month in FY23, Pakistan’s exports to the US increased by 2% to $430 million from $421 million.
With exports to the US totaling $3.89 billion from July to March of FY24, the nation’s exports to the US decreased by 2.5 percent from $3.99 billion during the same period in FY23.
In March 2024, the nation’s exports reached $2.555 billion, up 7.99% YoY from $2.366 billion in the same month the previous year. In March 2024, imports totaled $4.726 billion, up 25.86 percent year over year from $3.755 billion in the same month the previous year.
