Sheikh Naim Qassem is one of the most senior and experienced leaders of Hezbollah. He received his primary education in the southern Lebanese town of Kafr Kila.
And completed his degree in Chemistry at Lebanon University, serving as a teacher for a long time.
Sheikh Naim pursued his religious education and participated in many union formations for Muslim students.
In 1970, he became part of Imam Musa Sadr’s Amal Movement and left the movement in 1979 after the Iranian Revolution.
Sheikh Naim became a part of Hezbollah in 1982. Hezbollah formed in 1982 to resist Israeli atrocities. He served as Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah since 1991.
Sheikh Naim Qassem served under Deputy Abbas Mousavi before Hassan Nasrallah, who Israel martyred in 1992.

After Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom, the importance and responsibilities of Sheikh Naim Qassem increased.
Sheikh Naim became the deputy leader of Hezbollah and directed the organization.
