Authorities have detained several individuals, including female suspects and bank employees, in connection with the recent attack near Karachi Airport.
Reports indicate that a specialized team was assigned to the airport following the incident.
Among those detained is a woman with a history of facilitating terrorist activities, as well as suspects from Balochistan.
Reports revealed that bank staff members also played a role in aiding the attackers, facilitating funds transfers near the Karachi airport signal.
Additionally, a Karachi University student, who filmed a video prior to the assault, was apprehended.
Evidence shows that the bank staff helped transfer funds intended to purchase a vehicle used in the attack.
A substantial sum, Rs 7.1 million, was reportedly moved from Turbat to a Karachi bank, with bank staff allegedly accepting a Rs 200,000 bribe to authorize the transaction.
The October 7 incident resulted in the deaths of three people, including two Chinese nationals, and injured 17 others in an explosion near Karachi’s international airport.
