Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will probably reveal the Green Shirt team “soon” as teams get ready for the mega-event that is the T20 World Cup 2024.
According to the reports, the board will also release the squad in a “day or two” for the national team’s trip of Ireland and the tour of England that follows in May. An 18-man squad will be announced for the next games.
This news occurs after New Zealand’s 16-person T20 World Cup roster was revealed earlier in the day.
It should be mentioned that the teams have until May 1st to submit their squads for the mega competition, which is scheduled to start in June, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Babar Azam-led national team is scheduled to travel for Ireland on May 7, and prior to their departure, the PCB is expected to host a short camp for the national team.
The Green Shirts will play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against Ireland before facing England in a four-game T20I series.
Following that, the Men in Green will depart for the World Cup in the United States.
