The weather gets pleasant in Lahore after enduring two weeks of heat and humidity. Meteorological officials report that moist currents from the Bay of Bengal are moving into the upper and central parts of the country.
Meanwhile, a westerly wave is impacting the northern regions. This shift in weather has led to rainfall in several cities across the nation.
In Punjab, heavy rainfall has caused disruptions, including power outages in the federal capital, Islamabad, where dozens of feeders tripped due to the downpour.
Cities such as Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Jhelum, Gujarat, and Hafizabad experienced heavy rain, with Chaklala recording the highest rainfall at 124mm, followed closely by Bokra at 114mm.
The rainfall has not only brought relief to the sweltering temperatures but significantly improved the weather conditions.
