Weather alert: Rain and snowfall has predicted in the northern regions of the country on Friday, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are likely to experience cloudy conditions with light rain or snowfall in some areas.
Karachi may also see light rain and snowfall in select regions.
Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Mohmand, Bajaur, and Kurram are expected to receive thunderstorms, strong winds, rain, and snowfall within the next 24 hours.
Islamabad will experience chilly weather with partly cloudy skies, while Murree and Galyat may see light snowfall.
On February 1, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galyat are forecasted to have cloudy weather with light rain, wind, or snowfall. Isolated parts of the Pothohar region and northeast Punjab may also witness light rain and winds.

- Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan will largely experience dry weather.
- Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to remain cloudy with chances of snowfall.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be cold and dry, except for light rain and snowfall in the northern districts over the next 24 hours.
Weekend Outlook (Sunday & Monday)
During Sunday and Monday, Murree, Galyat, and Kashmir will experience cloudy conditions, while plain areas will continue to have cold temperatures.
