Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Chinese nationals will be permitted to get free visas starting on August 14, following cabinet approval.
He said it would be beneficial for Chinese companies to relocate to Pakistan through cooperative projects.
The prime minister made these remarks at a meeting with a 12-person high-level Chinese team headed by Minister Wang Fukang.
Both nations stand to benefit from the first added collaborative projects. The premier continued, “I’m sure the delegation visit will be very useful,” when speaking with the Chinese delegation.
He added that high-level delegations are visiting Pakistan as a result of his discussions with the Chinese leadership.
He predicted that the Chinese delegation’s visit would lead to investment and that industry, agriculture, and special economic zones will collaborate more. He stated that both countries will advance their collaboration in the areas of mining, minerals, and IT.
“Pakistan aspires its economic growth on Chinese model. Both countries should enhance industrial collaboration.”
Regarding the event in Bisham, the PM expressed grief, vowing the actions against the responsible. “Responsible for the event are under custody. They will receive punishment as per law.”
The prime minister vowed for the protection and security of the Chinese living in Pakistan.
