In a tragic viral video from Islamabad’s Chatta Bakhtawar area, a newborn baby girl was discovered abandoned in a garbage bin, placed inside a bag.
Locals heard soft cries coming from the bin, leading them to call the authorities. Police swiftly arrived at the scene, rescued the infant from the bag, and ensured she was given immediate medical attention and care.
Officials have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the abandonment and are working to trace the baby’s parents. The child is now under the care of social welfare services.
