Ukraine has launched its first long-range missiles on Russian territory, targeting the military bases in the Bryansk region.
This attack is launched by Ukraine as previously U.S. President Joe Biden permitted Ukranian military to use long-range missiles against Russia. Responding this approval from Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that if such weapons are deployed this would lead to World War III.
As per Russian official’s report, U.S. military has provided these missiles to Ukraine.
“Ukrainian military launched six long ranged missiles at a facility in Bryansk. Early investigation indicates that these missiles were U.S.-made Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS)”, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed.
Later an American official stated that the U.S supplied these missiles to Ukraine after Russia was supported by thousands of troops reportedly supplied by North Korea.
However Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged Biden to allow its military to use these missiles for more days to counter Russian attacks more efficiently.
