After quitting Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, and a number of other cities in 2022, Uber ceased operations in Lahore. The city’s ride-hailing service has suddenly ceased to operate without prior notification or alerts.
As of April 30, 2024, Uber will no longer be providing its app services in Lahore, the company informed users via email.

According to the statement, Uber will contact customers who have money in their accounts shortly to arrange refunds. Uber just says that reimbursements would be sent “in due course,” so it’s not clear when users will get their money returned.
