Ukraninan President Volodymyr Zelensky during Yesterday’s Trump Zelensky meeting in the Oval Office faced a very unusual question by a reporter about his choice of clothing.
The reporter’s question, “Why don’t you wear a suit?” has caused a stir in social media.
“Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in this country’s office and referred to wear a suit. Do you own a suit,” the reporter asked Ukraine’s president.
In response Zelensky very calmly replied, “Do you have a problem?”
The conversation didn’t end there the reporter further questioned, “A lot of Americans have an issue withthose who don’t respect the dress code of the Oval Office.”
However, Zelensky assured him that he would wear a suit after Ukraine was at peace.
President Trump on the other hand stepped forward and said, “I do like your costume by the way.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with United States President Donald Trump turned disastrous as they ended up in a heated argument on Friday.
The two leaders exchanged verbal blows in front of international media at Oval Office over the war with Russia.
The tense encounter at the white house was marked by booing and harsh words with various allegations at both ends.
Trump Zelensky meeting was planned to discuss the Russian-Ukraine conflict and to gain US support.
Ukrainian president aimed to convince Trump not to side with Russia, who on the orders of Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine three years before.
Instead, Zelensky, Trump, and Vice President JD Vance exchanged words, while Zelensky underlined how the new administration in Washington undermined Ukraine’s attempts to harness Western support for its war effort.
Vance emphasized the need for diplomacy to solve the conflict, however, Zelensky rebuttal him that Putin cannot be trusted in negotiations.
Zelenskyy left the Oval Office soon after the clash.
