We all are independent today due to the uncountable efforts of Quaid E Azam. A name that told us the true meaning of freedom. Today we owe this great name because he faced too many challenges so to gave us a land where we can live according to our traditions and religion. The land where every religion has its rights. Today, 11 september,2024, is the 76th death anniversary of our beloved and great leader Quaid e Azam Muhammad ali jinnah
Early Life and Education
Quaid e Azam was born on 25 December 1876 in Karachi. His father’s name was Poonja Jinnah. Pooja Jinnah lived in Raaj Kot, but because of his business, he shifted to Karachi. He was a merchant of leather. Muhammad Ali got his early education from his city. He passed matric from “Sindh Madarsa tul Islam” in 1892. Ater matric Pooja Jinnah wanted his son to work with him, but Muhammad Ali went to England for higher education. After returning from England, he decided to take admission in the Lincolin for further education. Then, he started practicing as a lawyer.
Participation in Politics
Quaid e Azam well thought out that Muslims and Hindus are different nations. They have different cultures, traditions, and religions. In 1906, he joined Congress. He wanted to keep Muslims and Hindus together, and he made all efforts but all in vain. After joining Congress, he realized that Congress is the only party for all Indians it does not work for the welfare and prosperity of muslims. Then he decided to leave the Congress and join the All India Muslim League in 1911. Now, Quaid e Azam started to work not only for the welfare of the Muslims but also for the freedom of Muslims.
14 Points of Quaid e Azam
In 1928, Nehru gave a report. This report showed the real faces of Indian. After that, all Muslim leaders became active. Now, their only mission was to get a separate homeland. In 1929, Quaid e Azam passed 14 points in which he described that Muslims differ from Hindu in all aspects. He said we need a separate homeland where we can live according to our traditions and religion. Here, we are not getting our equality either on a governmental scale or at any other stage.
Round Table Conference
Round Table conferences of 1931,1932,1933 Quaid failed because of the severity of Gandhi. At that point, he understood that Muslims should have a separate homeland. Otherwise, they do not have a bright future.
Resolution of Pakistan
Finally, the time comes when all the efforts of Muslims come true. 23 March 1940 passed a resolution for separate homeland demands, which almost succeeded.
First Governer General of Pakistan
After facing a lot of difficulties and hardships of Quaid e Azam, Pakistan came into existence on the world map. Quaid e Azam became the first governor-general of Pakistan. His first speech emphasized that faith, unity, and discipline can make Pakistan prosperous.
A leader like no other
Due the hard work day and night, Quaid e Azam lost his health. He fell ill seriously. 11 September 1948 was the dark day for all of us when Quaid e Azam left this world. May his soul rest and peace(Ameen).
As a brave nation, we should work hard for our country because many people sacrificedsacrificed their lives, and then we got this homeland. May Allah give us strength, so we should work for the prosperity of our beloved country.
