A Chinese aerospace company, Space Transportation, has successfully tested its high-speed aircraft, the ‘Yunxing’, which is capable of traveling at a speed of 3,045 miles per hour.
The jet can travel from New York to London in two hours at this speed. From Karachi to Lahore, a flight would take just 13 minutes in Pakistan.
Scheduled to become operational next year, Yunxing is powered by a Ramjet, which gains airspeed through the atmospheric oxygen. It is going to change the face of air travel with unparalleled speed.
Yunxing is engaged in two significant ventures: a company that focuses on aluminum electrolytic capacitors and a line of cutting-edge supersonic aircraft.
The Yunxing capacitors division stands out as a prominent entity in the high-tech industry, manufacturing aluminum electrolytic capacitors for diverse applications, including lighting, solar energy, and wind power.
The company has attained ISO9001 certification, affirming that its products adhere to stringent quality standards.
Furthermore, its offerings comply with RoHS and REACH regulations, with distinguished clients that include Philips and Osram.
In the aerospace domain, Yunxing is recognized for its supersonic aircraft, which are under development by Sichuan Lingkong Tianxing Technology.
These aircraft aim to significantly reduce travel times between major cities, such as Beijing and New York.
Anticipated to be among the first supersonic jets in decades to enter commercial operation, the company plans to conduct the inaugural flight by 2027.
