Fifth on the prestigious list is Colin Zheng Huang, the Chinese entrepreneur behind the popular social media platform TikTok, amassing an impressive $50.7 billion in assets. Zhang Yiming of China follows closely behind in sixth place with a net worth of $43.4 billion.
Seventh place is held by Savitri Jindal and her family from India, with a combined wealth standing at $41.2 billion as of mid-July 2024. Ma Huateng, the influential figure behind Tencent from China, secures the eighth spot with assets valued at $40.4 billion.
Japan’s esteemed businessman Tadashi Yanai and his family take the ninth position on the list, boasting a net worth of $30.8 billion. Meanwhile, the tenth spot goes to Li Ka-Shing of Hong Kong, whose wealth is reported to be $35.8 billion.
