Indian director Hansal Mehta has casted Hollywood actor Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the “Harry Potter” movie, in his next web series “Gandhi.”
Hansal Mehta’s eagerly awaited online series “Gandhi,” is starring veteran Gujarati actor Pratik Gandhi, the director revealed on Thursday afternoon.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this narrative about Gandhi’s formative years in London.” Felton expressed his delight in a statement.
“It’s an important aspect of history that hasn’t been told on screen before, and to be working with Hansal & Pratik is an honour and pleasure,” Felton said.
In addition to Felton, the performers Libby Mai, Molly Wright, Ralph Adeniyi, James Murray, Lindon Alexander, Jonno Davies, and Simon Lennon were added to the cast by the producers.

Notably, actor Pratik Gandhi, who starred in Scam 1992, will play the title character in the series, Mahatma Gandhi, while actor Bhamini Oza, who plays Kasturba in real life, will play the same role.
