CM Maryam Nawaz has gone to Sharif Medical City Complex for check up where doctors suggested her treatment.
Sharif Medical City Complex is a trust hospital near her residence in Raiwaind, Jati Umra. Her family owns and runs the trust where poor and needy receive medical treatment against minor charges, as per reports.
It is unclear what sort of infection she got but medical practitioners say common citizen are experiencing viral infection due to environmental issue.

Maryam Nawaz is the first woman chief minister of Punjab. She is daughter of former three-time prime minister and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif. She is niece of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the younger brother of Nawaz.
Sharif family is one of the most powerful dynasties in Pakistan and is in power for decades. Many believe she came to power through rigging and with the backing of country’s powerful military establishment. PTI claims she, her father and uncle even could not secure their seats in February’s general elections but establishment managed their victory through Form 47.
