South Indian Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay arranged an Iftar party and later offered Maghrib prayer which received great appreciation from Muslim community.
Recently, some videos of Thalapathy who left the film industry to pursue politics, are rounding on social media. In these viral clips, South Indian actor can be seen hosting an Iftar gathering and offering Maghrib prayer.
According to Indian media reports, the actor arranged an Iftar party attended by thousands of people.
Thalapathy Vijay also carried a white traditional dress with a white cap according to the event requirement.
A recitation of the Quran and prayers were held before to Iftar, and the actor participated in both.
Even though he is a Christian, Thalapathy Vijay broke his fast with Muslims and attended the Iftar. Later, he participated in the Maghrib prayer with the congregation, a video of this event went viral.
Notably Thalapathy Vijay is one of the highest paid actors in India, who had charged ₹275 crore for a single film. He has now said goodbye to the movie business, in order to concentrate on his political career. These days he is working on his unfinished film projects to fully turned towards politics.
Media reports state that Thalapathy Vijay just founded Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam, his own political party.
