Acclaimed actress Syra Yousuf shared her thoughts on remarriage and the importance of financial independence for women.

Recently Syra appeared in an interview. During the interview she discussed societal pressure to remarry, financial independence of woman, and the qualities she seeks in a life partner.
Syra said that in recent times divorce rate has increased. Now, people have come to realize that moving on after a relationship is not an easy task.
“It’s not easy to remarry after ending a relationship. Now I feel that this is not a crucial thing to have a male figure in our life. I think that now attitudes are evolving, and there’s growing acceptance of single mothers”, the actress told.
Syra added that financial independence is vital in such situations. “Financial stability has been a key factor in many of the decisions I’ve made in life. That’s why it’s crucial for women to be independent”, Syra stressed.
Additional to this Syra shared that if she chose to remarry, the most important quality she would seek in her life partner is that he would be God-fearing. “That’s the quality I prioritize in a life partner,” Syra told.
