The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has published a Ramadan gas loadshedding schedule which will be followed across country.
The schedule is formulate in order to maintain gas availability during Sehri and Iftar hours and to execute load control during other times.
Timings of the gas supply
A representative for SSGC stated that the following hours will see gas supply availability:
Sehri: from 3 to 9 a.m.
Iftar: from 3:30 to 10:00 p.m.
However, the following hours will see a suspension of the gas delivery for consumers:
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
According to the SSGC spokeswoman, the schedule is set up to give priority to gas supply during Ramadan’s busiest meal preparation periods. However, outside of these specified hours, customers can encounter low gas pressure or brief shortages.
