Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has released a revised gas delivery schedule in accordance with federal government directives, local media reported on Friday.
According to the revised schedule, customers will now be able to access natural gas from 6:00am to 9:00am in the morning, 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the afternoon, and 6:00pm to 9:00pm at night.
SNGPL Executive Officer (Technical) Muhammad Faisal stated that in accordance with the government’s directions, they were supplying full pressure gas at scheduled times in all locations.
“Sometimes, consumers face limitation of gas due to technical fault otherwise we deliver full pressure gas in schedule timings,” he alleged.
According to the official, clients would be able to access full pressure gas at scheduled times during the winter.
However, they maintain that the majority of localities have low to zero gas pressure even during scheduled times.
Muhammad Shafiq Qureshi, President of the Rawalpindi Naanbhais Welfare Association (RNWA), stated that all Naanbhais used pricey cylinders throughout the summer and winter.
He fiercely objected to the SNGPL issuing high invoices in the absence of gas.
