Pakistani mountaineer Sirbaz Khan has made history, becoming the first person from Pakistan to summit all 14 of the world’s highest peaks, each standing over 8,000 meters.
His final achievement came on Friday when he successfully reached the summit of Shishapangma in Tibet, the last of these monumental challenges at 8,027 meters.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) celebrated his remarkable accomplishment, praising Khan’s determination, resilience, and dedication.
Hailing from Aliabad in the Hunza Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Sirbaz Khan has faced the most extreme conditions, from the brutal winds and thin air of Mount Everest to the deadly avalanches of K2.
His incredible feat has earned him a spot among only 41 mountaineers worldwide to have completed the ascent of all 14 of these massive peaks.
Since starting his mountaineering career in 2016, Sirbaz Khan has climbed some of the most treacherous mountains on Earth, pushing the boundaries of human endurance.
Throughout his journey, he remained committed to giving back to his community, participating in various volunteer efforts.
In a heartfelt gesture, Khan dedicated this latest achievement to the late Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara, who tragically lost his life during a K2 expedition.
