Sindh’s Education minister Sardar Ali Shah has directed a relaxation in the uniform court during winter, allowing students to wear warm clothes to protect themselves from the cold.
Following the provincial education minister’s instructions, the directorate of private institutions in Sindh has issued a circular to private schools. It states that steps should be taken to protect Children’s Health during the winter season.
The Sindh education department emphasizes that students should be permitted to wear warm clothes during winter, regardless of uniform regulations.
The circular also urged private schools to cooperate with measures that safeguard students’ health, including relaxing uniform policies during the cold season.
Additionally, the Sindh education department directed that all possible steps be taken in classrooms to protect from the cold.
It is worth noting that two days ago, amidst a severe cold wave across Punjab, the provincial education department issued a notification allowing students in both public and private schools to wear jerseys, sweaters, or jackets of any color during the winter season.
