South Indian actor Siddharth Suryanarayan faces backlash from Pushpa’s fans over his critical remarks about Pushpa 2.
Recently, Siddharth sparked controversy for his remarks about the crowd at the Pushpa 2 trailer launch.
Earlier an event, held in Patna, drew thousands of fans eager to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun, the star of the blockbuster sequel of Pushpa.
Talking about the huge gathering, Siddharth compared the enthusiastic crowd to people gathered at a JCB digging site. “In our country, even a JCB digging site draws attention. So, a crowd showing up for Allu Arjun in Bihar isn’t surprising. Crowds form when events are organized. In India, large gatherings don’t necessarily indicate quality. If they did, all political parties would win elections—people come for biryani and quarter bottles”, Siddharth commented during an event.
This comment from Siddharth has sparked outrage among Allu Arjun’s supporters. Many accused Siddharth of harboring jealousy and negativity. One user commented, “He always gives off negative vibes,” while another wrote, “Nobody in the North knows Siddharth… jealousy is showing.”
Overall, Pushpa fans have condemned Siddharth’s remarks, stating that such comments are inappropriate coming from one senior actor about another.
