Shreya Ghoshal, the famous Bollywood playback singer, has been hacked on social media website X (formerly Twitter).
This has caused her significant angst.
Trying to inform her friends and followers of the unauthorized access to her account, she via an Instagram post spread this disturbing word.
Shreya Ghoshal disclosed in her message that her X account had been compromised since February 13.
She said she had done all she could to solve the problem, but the X support staff had not gotten back to her.
Her feeling of powerlessness in dealing with the matter stems from her not being able to recover her account even after several tries.
The singer went on to say that she is now unable to delete her profile or take any safety measures since she cannot sign into her account.
Her worries have been compounded by this failure to manage her account as she is afraid the hacker could abuse her internet presence.
Shreya Ghoshal urgently called on her fans not to believe any messages sent from her hacked account.
She also advised against clicking on any dubious links that could be part of a scam on the hacked account.
She stresses the need of being constantly on guard and staying away from any contact with potentially harmful information.
The singer conveyed her irritability and asked for help from her fans via her message in expectation of a quick resolution.
She told everybody to be careful and refrain from participating in any suspicious activity associated with her hijacked account before she recovers access.
