Heartiest congratulations are in order for former Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar, as he welcomed his third child, on Friday.
Regarded as one of the most celebrated cricketers in the world and nicknamed “Rawalpindi Express” for his unmatched bowling skills, Akhtar remains to date an icon in the Pakistani cricket arena.
Taking to Instagram, Akhtar shared a picture with his newborn daughter in his arms and announced her birth to the world.
“Mikaeel & Mujaddid have a baby sister now” the former fast bowler shared excitedly.
“Allah taala has blessed us with a baby daughter,” he added.
Revealing the name of his bundle of joy, Akhtar shared more details of her birth date.
“Welcoming Nooreh Ali Akhtar, born during Jumma prayers, 19th of Shaban, 1445 AH.
1st of March, 2024.”
“Aap sab ki duaon ka talab gaar, [Seeking your prayers]” he added.

He married Rubab Khan on 11 November 2014. In November 2016 they welcomed their first child, a son named Mohammad Mikaeel Ali, and in July 2019 they became parents a second time to another baby boy, followed by their daughter Nooreh in March 2024.
