Following the death of the former leader of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrullah, who was killed in an Israeli strike in September. Sheikh Naim Qaseem was appointed as the new leader of Hezbollah.
Qaseem affirmed that Hezbollah will continue to establish a strategy and “stick to the warpath” against Israel. He explained that resisting and taking defensive steps is preferable to facing surprise attacks from Israel.
Sheikh Qaseem expressed Hezbollah’s readiness for any conflict, stating, “If war is thrust upon us, we are fully prepared to respond with courage and determination.”
He clarified that Hezbollah’s actions are not driven by personal interests or external influences, but rather by what he described as their cause and mission.
