Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder and Former Imran Khan said that if his Plan B came into effect, Shehbaz Sharif would also become a missing person as soon as he stepped down from his position.
Imran Khan strongly denied reports that he had asked any hidden PTI member to come out in public.
He made these remarks while talking informally with the reporters at Adiala Jail on Thursday.
“We are not afraid of jails; our people are being kidnapped. Deputy Superintendent Akram has also been abducted. The police claim he ran away with a girl, but everyone knows who kidnapped Akram. If their Plan B succeeds, Shehbaz Sharif will also disappear as soon as he leaves his position,” said Imran Khan.
Imran Khan also said, “Previously, they claimed that our resettlement efforts brought back terrorism, but now Mohsin Naqvi is saying cross-border terrorism is taking place. This means you were lying.”
Imran Khan emphasized that TTP terrorism cannot be eradicated without the cooperation of the Afghan government. He condemned the ongoing terrorism, saying, “How can I not condemn something that is destroying the country? Who is responsible for stopping terrorism in Balochistan and Kacha?”
The PTI founder added, “Terrorism in Balochistan will only end when the elected representatives of Balochistan are brought to the table. The Baloch people are turning against the country, which is extremely dangerous for Pakistan. This entire burden is falling on the establishment.”
He also mentioned, “I wanted to introduce EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines), but Bajwa, the Election Commission and PPP didn’t allow it. As soon as Qazi Faez Isa leaves, four constituencies will be opened, and this government will fall. We will not cancel the September 8th rally under any circumstances. I urge the public to come out and participate. Party workers should not tolerate any obstacles to the September 8th rally.”
He further noted that there is no investment happening in the country, the economy is sinking, and the government keeps taking loans.
“Without income, how will the loans be repaid?,” he asked.
