Shawwal Moon has been sighted in Pakistan, and Eid ul Fitr is to be celebrated on Wednesday.
The central Ruet-e-Hilal committee of Pakistan announced on Tuesday that reports of moon sightings had been received from various areas including Kohlu, Khyber, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujranwala, Karachi, and others.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, made the announcement.
The announcement was made by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, following a meeting attended by committee members as well as representatives from the Meteorological Department, SPARCO, and Science and Technology sectors.
