The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) most recent T20 player rankings show that Pakistan’s top pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has risen many spots.
Afridi’s rating of 631 puts him at the 12th spot among all T20 bowlers in the world, which is an improvement of three spots.
Adil Rashid of England is ranked first on the list, followed by Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka and Axar Patel of India in second and third position, respectively.
Haris Rauf, who is rated 25 with a rating of 574, is the only other Pakistani bowler to make it into the top 25 T20 bowlers.
Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, who moved up two spots to the seventh spot, is also included on the list.
But when it comes to the best T20 batsmen, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan rank third and fourth, respectively, with ratings of 769 and 761.
Suryakumar Yadav of India is recognized as the best T20 hitter, with Phil Salt of England coming in second.
Jos Buttler, the skipper of England, has moved up one spot to take the seventh spot among T20 batsmen.
With a rating of 228 in the all-rounder category, Hasaranga of Sri Lanka leads the field, followed by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, who dropped a spot to take second place.
