Lawyer of Dr Yasmin Rashid has claimed that the PTI Punjab President was sent back to Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore from hospital on the pressure of a senior police officer.
Dr Yasmin was under treatment in the Service Hospital for few days. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment of back pain. The PTI leader is in jail for almost a year. It was first time that 72-year old doctor who is also a cancer patient was admitted to hospital.
Her lawyer Rana Mudassar said that he and Dr’s family members were not allowed to meet her in the hospital. He claimed that he was discharged early due to pressure of a senior police cop as the doctors insisted to keep her under their watch for at least three more days.
Dr Yasmin Rashid is in prison in connection with May 9 incident. Police have also registered many other cases against her. She fought election from jail against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and many claimed she won the polls with clear margin but the results were allegedly changed in favour of PML-N supremo after massive rigging.
