Saudi Arabia’s budget airline Flyadeal is gearing up to launch its operations in Pakistan, starting February 2, in a move expected to enhance travel connectivity between the two countries.
The airline will operate direct flights from Riyadh to Karachi, with plans to expand services to include routes linking Karachi with Riyadh and Jeddah. To mark its inaugural flight, Karachi airport authorities will hold a water salute ceremony.
Flyadeal recently received clearance from Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to commence operations, signaling a significant step in its international growth strategy.
Sources within the airline highlight that the new service aims to provide convenient travel options for passengers traveling between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
This announcement comes as Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s flagship airline, continues to solidify its position as a leader in global aviation. With an impressive 88% punctuality rate in arrivals and departures reported by Cirium in mid-2024, Saudia is also expanding its fleet with over 100 new aircraft as part of the Vision 2030 initiative.
Operating across 100+ destinations worldwide, Saudia has been a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2012 and offers extensive charter services during Ramadan and Hajj seasons, covering regions like the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
