Former Indian star tennis player Sania Mirza is honored with Dubai sports ambassador in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The tennis star announced this good news on photo and video-sharing social media app Instagram and shared her gratitude towards the Dubai Sports Council.

Sania Mirza shared a glimpse of the event organized by the Dubai Sports Council on Instagram.
She wrote, “I’m grateful to Dubai Sports Council for providing this incredible opportunity.” Furthermore, Sania Mirza’s fans also congratulated her on this achievement on social media.
This event was organized to highlight the importance of sports in Dubai and promote a healthy lifestyle in the country.
Many popular sports personalities also attended the event, including UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh.
Furthermore, Harbhajan Singh was nominated as a sports ambassador of the Dubai Sports Council.
The Dubai Sports Council, founded in 2005, was established to enhance Dubai’s profile as a leading global hub for sports and athletic excellence.
It’s important to note that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik got divorced at the beginning of this year. Shoaib Malik got married to Sana Javed and currently resident in Pakistan whereas Sania Mirza is living in Dubai with her son Izhaan.
