Sana Khan, a former actress who abandoned the entertainment industry to walk a spiritual path, is under fire.
This happened after a viral video from her next YouTube podcast episode spread online.
Sana is seen in the video demanding that guest Sambhavna Seth covers herself in a dupatta and burqa, sparking a heated debate across internet platform.
Featuring several industry friends talking their spiritual experiences, Sana Khan just started a Ramadanthemed podcast.
Reality TV personality Sambhavna Seth is featured as a guest in a forthcoming show.
Sambhavna’s vlog from behind the scenes, on the other side, has received a lot of criticism.
Sana Khan is heard in the viral video saying;
“Tere paas ek acchi salwar kameez nahi hai…. thappad chahiye? Where is your dupatta? Burqa laao… Sambhavna ko burqa pehnao.”
Taken aback, Sambhavna answered by saying she gained weight and her clothes don’t fit right. She added;
“People will pay attention to our words, not our clothing.” People will love us for who we are.”
Many internet users thought Sana’s comments unsuitable and charge her with forcing her personal ideas down a person of a different religion.
One user remarked;
“Sambhavna is not Muslim.”
“Sana was wrong and rude here… You can’t make anyone dress in a certain manner.”
Sana doesn’t should tell herself what to wear. Against Islam itself is for someone to be forced.”
Some defended Sana saying she was joking, but still she was chastised for showing an example that opposes the principles of personal freedom and choice.
Before marrying Mufti Anas in 2020, Sana Khan, an actress famous for her work on reality television, stopped performing in Bollywood.
She further deleted any of her social media remarks regarding her.
Sambhavna Seth, another familiar reality TV personality, has appeared on Bigg Boss 2, Khatron Ke Khiladi 4.
Sana Khan has yet not discussed the dispute as the argument goes on.
