Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have officially announced the sequel to their 2014 blockbuster Kick.
The duo is also collaborating on Sikandar, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Nadiadwala’s production company revealed the news of Kick 2 on Instagram, posting a photo of Salman Khan from the set of Sikandar.
The caption said, “It was a great Kick 2 photo shoot Sikandar….!!!” and tagged Salman Khan and Wardha Khan Nadiadwala.
Released in 2014, Kick was a major hit. It marked Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut as a director and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. It was also Salman Khan’s first film to surpass the 200 crore Indian rupee milestone.
The action-comedy also featured Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Kick was a remake of the 2009 Telugu movie starring Ravi Teja.
With the announcement of Kick 2, fans of Salman Khan are excitedly awaiting his return to the action-packed role.
