Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has returned home after spending five days in Lilavati Hospital, where he was treated for injuries from a recent attack.
The incident occurred on January 16 when an assailant stabbed the actor six times, inflicting severe wounds, including one dangerously close to his spine.
Upon his release, Saif was seen entering his Bandra residence, dressed casually in a white shirt and jeans.
He was escorted by security personnel and police officers. Visible injuries, including a plastered left arm and bandages on his neck and back, highlighted the gravity of the assault.
Authorities have confirmed the arrest of the attacker, although the reasons behind the assault remain undisclosed. Investigations are still underway as officials work to determine the motive.
Fans expressed relief over Saif’s improving health and praised law enforcement for their quick response. The attack has also reignited conversations about the security challenges faced by prominent public figures.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is expected to be discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital today, as per doctors statement.
Dr. Nitin Dange, the attending doctor at Lilavati Hospital, confirmed the development on Tuesday morning. “Khan’s discharge papers were prepared the previous night and he will leave the hospital between 10 am and 12 pm”, he stated.
Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital following a shocking stabbing incident during a burglary attempt at his Mumbai home last Thursday. The attacker reportedly stabbed the actor nearly six times with a sharp knife and fled the scene.
After the assault, Khan was urgently taken to Lilavati Hospital in an autorickshaw where he underwent two surgeries to treat his injuries.
The Mumbai Police are actively investigating the case and have detained suspects connected to the attack.
