Sadaf Kanwal, renowned supermodel and wife of actor Shahroz Sabzwari, recently opened up about her journey with beauty enhancements.
In an Eid special interview with a digital media outlet, Kanwal admitted that she had a “very ordinary face” during her younger years and that social media, particularly Instagram, played a role in her decision to undergo various beauty procedures to refine her appearance.
Reflecting on her transformation, Kanwal shared, “I was not considered conventionally pretty growing up. It was only after becoming more aware through social media that I decided to make changes and groom myself to look the way I do today.”
Kanwal also offered advice to her peers in the industry. She suggested that Mehwish Hayat and Hamza Ali Abbasi might benefit from losing some weight, while she felt Maya Ali could gain a few kilos to enhance her appearance.
On the other hand, she praised Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, saying they are perfect just as they are.
Addressing her past habits, Kanwal acknowledged that she used to smoke but has since quit. She defended women’s autonomy regarding personal choices, especially in response to social media scrutiny.
“Whether or not a woman smokes is her own business. It’s her life, and she should be free to make her own choices without being judged or criticized just because people can access her Instagram,” Kanwal asserted, urging social media users to be more respectful.
Through her candid confessions and advice, Sadaf Kanwal provided a glimpse into her personal evolution and perspective on body image and public scrutiny.
