Senior security official of Russia, Sergey Shoigu assured Afghanistan officials to remove Taliban from its list of banned organizations.
Sergey recently met with representatives from Afghanistan’s interim government and announced that Russia would soon remove Taliban from its blacklist.

As per media reports Shoigu, secretary of Russia’s Security Council, met with Abdul Ghani Baradar, Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister to discuss economic affairs, in Kabul.
Following the meeting, Baradar’s office iisued a statement on X. The statement highlighted that Russia expressed interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation with Afghanistan. “Russia has assured to remove Islamic Emirate name from the list of its banned organization”, statement says.
