Russian military has targeted Ukrainian military industrial complex by launching its new missile called the Oryxen.
As per Russian media reports, it targeted the Ukranian industrial complex involved in manufacturing ballistic missiles.
Later the Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed that Oryxen was a medium-ranged ballistic missile embedded with hypersonic capabilities. ‘The missile could travel 3 kilometers per second and there is no missile defense system in the world that could intercept it”, president warned.
Condemning the attack Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked international community to take strong action against this attack.
“Russia is using Ukrainian territory for testing its nuclear power, ignoring that such attacks would escalate the ongoing conflict”, Volodymyr stressed.
It is worth noting that a day before Ukraine launched the U.S made powerful missiles on Russian military bases.
This was the first time, Ukraine had used long-range missiles to target Russia, hitting an arms depot in the Bryansk region.
This follows U.S. President Joe Biden permission for Ukraine to use these missiles against Russian targets.
