The first-ever Jeep Rally will take place in Lahore on May 4 and 5, organized by the Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Department in association with the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) and the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA).
The CEO of the Ravi Urban Development Authority, the Managing Director of TDCP, and the Secretary of Tourism all attended a special press briefing held at the Lahore Museum auditorium. The thrilling announcement and jeep rally marketing were made possible by the event.
There will be about sixty drivers competing on the thirty-five-kilometer rally course, including female drivers. The event will be the first truck races, street bike races, and dirt bike races in Lahore. May 4th at CBD Main Boulevard Gulberg is the date of the opening ceremony, while May 27th at Lahore Fort is the date of the closing ceremony.
Working together with a number of stakeholders, such as the Tourism Department, TDCP, RUDA, Commissioner Lahore, National Highway, and the District Police Officer Sheikhupura, makes the Lahore Ravi Rally feasible.
The demonstration has attracted national notice, and future iterations are likely to draw participants from all throughout Pakistan as well as from beyond. For the convenience of rally fans attending the event on May 5, shuttle bus services will be offered.
