Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded release of the Imran Khan as pre-condition for talks with the government coalition. The PTI also wants release of all members from jails and withdrawal of cases against them.
PTI leaders Barrister Gohar and Ali Muhammad Khan said they are ready to hold dialogue if the government releases founder chairman Imran Khan and ends his political victimisation.
Both the leaders were replying to the offer of dialogue from Rana Sanaullah and call for reconciliation by President Asif Zardari. Ali Muhammad said the offers were made by the government side and that the PTI founding chairman Imran Khan has never refused to hold talks. If the politicians will not sit together and hold talks then they will provide opportunities to others for interfere, he said, indirectly hinting at the military establishment. He said everyone made mistakes and it was time to move forward, accepting past mistakes.
PPP, PML-N and MQM leaders while reacting over Ali Muhammad Khan offer said PTI has to seek apology on May 9 incident. They said Imran Khan during his government targeted political opponents with the backing of the establishment.
