Rawalpindi Court has dismissed all cases against students involved in protests related to the private college controversy.
Previously Rawalpindi police have detained over 150 student protesters.
Court presided over the cases, accusing the students involvement in violence during protests and dismissed all the allegations.
Rawalpindi court has also mentioned the importance of peaceful protests and the protection of student rights.
Earlier, Punjab Police detained hundreds of students from various cities across the province for the allegations of vandalism during the protest.
Students of Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) along with others are demonstrating across the province against an alleged rape incident of a female student. This incident arouse a widespread anger among students.
Lahore is the central point of these ongoing protests.
Students from all over Punjab have reportedly damaged property and injured many police officials.
Police stations of various cities have filed different cases against students.
According to a police report protesters attacked police with petrol bombs, burning six motorcycles and causing extensive damage to the college.
However Rawalpindi Court have thrown out all these cases.
