Maintaining their tradition, the UAE has announced a reduction in working hours for employees during the holy month. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the UAE has revealed that working hours for employees will be shortened during Ramadan. Employees will be on duty from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday, and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays.
Those who continue to work beyond the designated hours will be entitled to overtime. It’s important to note that Saturday and Sunday are typically observed as weekends in the UAE.
