The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources of UAE has disclosed the duty hours for the servants of federal department during the holy month of Ramadan 2025.
In a circular issued by FAHR department, it is stated that the Ramadan duty hours for the ministries and federal authorities will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, while 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday.
It was stressed that ministries and federal authorities should implement flexible duty hours.
Moreover, remote work schedule should be derived during the holy month according to their requirements and within the working hours limit per day set by the government.
The authority further added that federal government departments will permit maximum of 70 percent of their staff to work from home on Fridays during the month of Ramadan.
The holy month of Ramadan is set to start by the end of February. People all across the Muslim world fast for 30 days during this month.
