Rajpal Yadav much-anticipated return as Chhota Pandit in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been widely appreciated, yet the actor found himself embroiled in controversy following remarks about Diwali firecrackers.
Initially, Rajpal Yadav posted a video asking fans to avoid firecrackers due to their environmental impact, leading to a swift backlash. In response, he removed the post and issued an apology.
The situation intensified when a journalist from a major Hindi outlet alleged that Yadav grabbed their camera during an interview. According to the journalist, the actor even attempted to toss the phone aside when confronted about his Diwali remarks.
In a circulating video, Yadav is seen with fans while responding to questions about his future projects, saying, “You’ll see me in a film every six weeks.” When the reporter shifted to his Diwali message, Yadav blocked the camera before they could finish.
In his apology video, Yadav wished everyone a joyous Diwali and said, “If my message offended anyone, I’m truly sorry. Let’s celebrate Diwali with joy and safety.”
His caption further clarified, “My intention was not to lessen Diwali’s joy. Let’s make this festival memorable for all!”
