The Pakistan Railways Department has announced the restoration of train service from Quetta, effective October 11. The Jafar Express for Peshawar will depart at 9:00 AM on that day.
In a letter from the CEO of Railways to the Divisional Superintendent Quetta, the department confirmed plans to resume services across the country.
Railway officials expect to complete repairs on the Dozan Bridge, damaged in a sabotage incident on August 26, within 10 days. After the repairs, they will conduct a trial run.
Once the trial is successful, the train service will officially resume on October 11.
