Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad has once again stood out, with its 12 departments being recognized among the top global institutions as per Global Institution QS rankings 2024.
QS acknowledged significant improvements in research at Quaid-e-Azam University over the past year. Notably, the university has been ranked number 1 in six subjects within Pakistan.
Furthermore, Quaid-e-Azam University has secured positions among the top 201-250 institutions globally in subjects like Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Statistics, as well as Operational Research, Pharmacy, and Pharmacology.
In addition, the university has been ranked among the top 251-300 institutions globally in Material Sciences, Chemistry, Agriculture, and Forestry, and among the top 351-400 institutions globally in Biological Sciences, Economics, and Econometrics.
Moreover, Quaid-e-Azam University has been recognized among the top 401-450 institutions globally in Environmental Sciences, Computer Sciences, and Information Systems, and the top 451-500 institutions globally in Business and Management Studies.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmad extended his congratulations to the university’s faculty and students for their outstanding success in the rankings. Professors at the university have noted that the educational and research standards across all departments have seen further elevation in the past year.
The professors attribute the significant improvement in the university’s global rankings within just one year to the initiatives led by Dr. Niaz Ahmad.
