The Punjab government has said Maryam Nawaz motorcade had not hit the young man on Shakargarh road as the Punjab chief minister travelled Kartarpur through helicopter.
Muhammad Abubakar, a 23-year-old youth, was died at spot when a vehicle of police elite force hit him. Reports say elite force vehicle which hit him the man was the part of Maryam motorcade who was travelling to Gurdwara sahib. Maryam visited Kartarpur to participate in Baisakhi festival. He also addressed the gathering there.
Police say the man died because he was hit by a motorcycle before falling down on the road and hitting by police vehicle. Local police officers said they are collecting the evidence through CCTV footages.
The funeral prayer of the young man offered in his local village, according to the reports.
