Punjab government has issued fresh schedule for summer vacations for schools in the province.
Over three-month log summer vacations will start from May 25 now. The government has earlier announced the vacations to start from May 31. The new decision has been taken considering the heatwave in Pakistan.
“In view of surge in temperature and heatwave in the proivince, all public and private schools shall remain closed for seven days with effect from 25th May 2024 to 31st May 2024,” says a notification issued by the provincial government on Monday.
